Stop safely

Lowered apps return to full volume when Unsound stops. Turn your system volume down first.

  • Pause: turn off Audio control in Settings → Audio, or run unsound pause -y. It stays paused until you turn it back on.
  • Quit: Quit stops audio control, then quits. It resumes next time you open Unsound. To keep your volumes while Unsound is closed, turn on Keep adjusting audio after quitting in Settings → Audio.
