Unsound needs System Audio Recording. macOS asks the first time you change an app’s volume. Click Allow. Unsound processes audio on your Mac and doesn’t record or upload it.

If you denied it, turn on Unsound in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording. Then turn Audio control off and on in Unsound Settings → Audio.

Unsound never asks for the microphone or Accessibility.
